Description
The Foundations series from ReelDx provide handpicked patient cases to facilitate a student’s learning in a particular field of medicine. They are meant to represent some of the most common conditions and diseases that a provider may encounter in relation to a particular organ system. Both adult and pediatric cases have been provided. By the end of the course, students will have a basic understanding of some common conditions in a particular organ system and how they are diagnosed and treated appropriately.

- CRITICAL THINKING - Be able to synthesize knowledge via comprehensive exploration of foundational medical, social, and cultural aspects of care.

Cardiovascular Learning Outcomes:
- Introduce students to several Cardiovascular pathologies that commonly present in clinical environments
- Learn appropriate history taking skills for patients presenting with cardiovascular complaints
- Learn what a common list of differentials may look like for different Cardiovascular pathologies
- Learn what common lab and radiology tests are ordered for patients presenting with cardiovascular pathologies
- Apply what you have learned to developing your own differential diagnosis list and list of tests appropriate for evaluating a patient
