Vanderbilt Nursing Students Practice Virtual Care

When COVID-19 began to spread across the country in March, many nursing students found themselves facing the daunting task of finding a way to complete the clinical hours they needed in a time when opportunities to do so in hospitals and clinics had been suspended. Vanderbilt University School of Nursing developed a novel way to create a virtual clinical experience for its students using a combination of simulations and ReelDx real patient video cases.
